Council of Ministers of BiH and House of Peoples of BiH PS sessions scheduled for tomorrow after turbulence between Trojka and SNSD

(Patria) - The session of the Council of Ministers of BiH is scheduled for January 30, and an emergency session of the House of Peoples of the BiH PS will be held on the same day.

This will be the first session of the Council of Ministers of BiH after the split in the state coalition, i.e., turbulence between Trojka and SNSD and the dismissal of Nenad Nešić from the position of Minister of Security of BiH. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, Elmedin Konaković, stated that they would "sweep SNSD cadres with bulldozers", but there is still no official proposal for the dismissal of ministers Staša Košarac and Srđan Amidžić. However, a request for Konaković's dismissal has been submitted by MPs from SDA and DF. SNSD confirmed that they will support this dismissal, while the opposition from RS has not yet taken a final stance.

The agenda includes several agreements, as well as the Proposal of the Decision on Amendments to the Decision on the Establishment of the Commission for Cooperation with NATO of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Regarding the emergency session of the House of Peoples of the BiH PS, the agenda includes two so-called European laws - the Law on Border Control and the Law on Personal Data Protection. These two laws were adopted on Thursday, January 23, at the session of the House of Representatives of the BiH PS without the votes of SNSD, and were supported by the opposition from RS. The situation regarding who constitutes the majority and whether SNSD will support these laws, or whether they will attend the session of the House of Peoples at all and enable its work, is still unclear.

At the same session of the House of Representatives of the BiH PS, at the proposal of the Trojka clubs (SDP, NIP, NS), Nebojša Radmanović was dismissed from the Collegium of the House of Representatives of the BiH PS.

Given that this position is vacant, the SNSD Club has submitted a proposal to appoint Branislav Borenović as the second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the emergency session is scheduled for February 5. SNSD emphasized that the work of the House of Representatives of the BiH PS without representatives of all three constituent peoples in the Collegium of the House of Representatives of the BiH PS is unconstitutional.

Otherwise, on the same day, the First Special Joint Session of both Houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH will be held on the topic: "MEMBERS/DELEGATES ASK - COUNCIL OF MINISTERS OF BiH RESPONDS".
