Entry to City Hall for those over 15 costs 2 KM

The City of Sarajevo informs all citizens and tourists that starting Tuesday, 08/26/2014, ticket sales for tours of Sarajevo City Hall will begin at a symbolic price of 2 KM, and for children under 15 years of age, entry will be free, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

The City has enriched the City Hall visit plan with new content. All interested parties, in addition to the central hall they have had the opportunity to visit so far, will also be able to tour the ceremonial staircase, the hall's gallery, the City Council hall, and the ceremonial hall, every day, including weekends, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

As part of the tour, visitors will also be able to see the exhibition titled "Sarajevo City Hall Once Again," which is part of the City Hall's permanent exhibition. It includes numerous original materials on the history of the building itself and the surrounding city area, architectural plans showing the construction of this edifice which began in 1894, photographs from the first opening in 1896, and then various phases of reconstruction from 1996 to the present day, reports Patria.
