Three earthquakes in the Zvornik, Tuzla, and Kalesija area in seven days

In the last seven days, three earthquakes with epicenters in Zvornik, Tuzla, and Kalesija have been recorded in BiH, according to data from the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute and the HMZ RS, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Last night at 22:21, an earthquake with an epicenter in Zvornik measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale was recorded. On February 17, an earthquake measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale with an epicenter between Tuzla and Zvornik was recorded. On February 15, an earthquake measuring 2.9 on the Richter scale with an epicenter in Zvornik was recorded.

According to measurements by the Hydrometeorological Institute of RS, last night's earthquake was recorded in Kalesija with a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter scale, as well as on February 17 with a magnitude of 3.1.

Last night's earthquake caused an accident at the Površinski kop Dubrave (Dubrave Open-pit Mine) site, where the bodies of four men who were digging coal were buried.
