600,000 KM for earthquake damage repair in Stolac

(Patria) - The Government of the Federation of BiH today adopted a Decision approving the Programme for the expenditure of funds from current transfers determined for the Federal Ministry of Spatial Planning within the Current Transfers to other levels of government and funds in the amount of 600,000 KM to assist the City of Stolac in repairing the consequences of earthquakes in the area of this city.

The Federal Ministry of Spatial Planning shall transfer the entire amount of funds to the City of Stolac within 30 days of the entry into force of this Decision, and any unspent funds shall be returned by the City to the FBiH Budget upon completion of the Programme.

The allocated funds shall be granted to the City of Stolac, in accordance with the submitted programme/project and financial plan, and will be used for the implementation of the project "Stabilization of the rock mass on the eastern slopes of the Stolac settlement".

A contract will be signed between the Federal Ministry of Spatial Planning and the City of Stolac regarding the manner of expenditure of the approved funds for the approved project, which will further define the mutual rights and obligations. The City of Stolac will report quarterly on the expenditure of funds to the Federal Ministry of Spatial Planning, which will report on this to the Federal Ministry of Finance.

The City of Stolac is obliged to use the allocated funds for their intended purpose and to submit a report with complete documentation proving their intended expenditure within 15 days of the completion of the programme/project.

The Federal Ministry of Spatial Planning, the Federal Ministry of Finance, and the City of Stolac are tasked with implementing this Decision, each within their competencies.
