25,000 BAM for Repair of Roof Structure on the "Šareni Voz" Kindergarten Building

Although it has no direct jurisdiction over education, the Centar Sarajevo Municipality has continued to invest in the education of the youngest Sarajevans, specifically preschool children. Thus, from the municipal budget for 2016, 25,000 convertible marks were allocated to the public institution Djeca Sarajeva for the repair of the roof structure on the building of the kindergarten „Šareni voz“, it was announced from this municipality, Patria reports.

The mentioned funds were allocated at the proposal of the Municipal Council's Commission for Education, based on the established Criteria for the distribution of funds to educational institutions, as well as the submitted requests and determined priorities.

This once again confirms that the Centar Sarajevo Municipality, through its engagement and contribution, has for many years shown selfless support for improving the spatial and material conditions for children and employees in kindergartens in its area, and works on promoting the importance of preschool education.

Over the past few years, not including the funds donated this year, the Centar Municipality has allocated around 198,600 marks for the improvement of the educational system and the enhancement of working conditions in kindergartens located in its area.
