3.4 Billion KM of Public Revenue Collected in Eight Months

The FBiH Tax Administration announced that taxpayers in the Federation of BiH paid 3,416,123,997 KM in public revenues within the jurisdiction of the Tax Administration from January to August this year, which is 222,080,594 KM or 6.95 percent more compared to the same period in 2017.

In the period from January to August 2018, compared to the same period in 2017, the total collection of direct taxes increased by 78,594,758 KM or 7.16 percent.

In the structure of direct taxes, the following were collected: profit tax in the amount of 282,660,023 KM, which is 10.81 percent or 27,567,866 KM more; property tax in the amount of 113,453,463 KM, which is 2.43 percent or 2,820,226 KM less; other taxes in the amount of 834,756 KM, which is 16.08 percent or 159,890 KM less; income tax in the amount of 293,826,994 KM, which is an increase of 11.57 percent or 30,460,350 KM; while fees and taxes were collected in the amount of 269,489,422 KM, which is 0.5 percent or 1,435,976 KM more.

In the mentioned period, contributions for pension and disability insurance, health insurance, and unemployment were collected in the total amount of 2,236,024,145 KM, which represents an increase of 143,859,234 KM or 6.88 percent compared to the same period last year.

Collected contributions amount to: contributions for pension and disability insurance 1,240,205,900 KM; contributions for health insurance 892,358,656 KM, and contributions for unemployment insurance 103,459,589 KM.

According to official records from the Unified System for Registration, Control, and Collection of Contributions, the number of employees in the Federation of BiH, based on employee residence, as of August 31, is 521,127.

Employment based on service contracts and copyright agreements is not recorded in the Unified System for Registration, Control, and Collection of Contributions, it was announced by the FBiH Tax Administration.
