10,000 KM allocated for equipping school libraries

The Municipality of Centar Sarajevo, led by Mayor Dževad Bećirević, allocated 10,000 KM from the 2015 budget for equipping school libraries, which will facilitate the work of library sections, reports the Patria News Agency.  

In this way, the Municipality of Centar facilitates the implementation of extracurricular activities, through which primary school students recognize and develop their interests and talents.

In the area of the Centar municipality, the distribution of funds to individual schools was carried out in accordance with the number of students and the total available stock of school literature, based on which priorities were selected.

With the aim of improving the educational process in primary schools, seven primary schools received financial support from the Municipality of Centar for equipping their libraries.

For the primary schools "Hasan Kikić", "Vladislav Skarić", "Catholic School Center", 2,000 KM each was allocated, and the schools "Isak Samokovlija", "Alija Nametak", "Musa Ćazim Ćatić" and "Nafija Sarajlić" each received 1,000 KM for this purpose, it was announced from the Municipality of Centar.
