Damir Kasum appointed new President of the Board of Directors of FK Sarajevo

(Patria) - Today, an extraordinary Assembly of the Football Club Sarajevo was held. The first item on the agenda was the dismissal of the current Board of Directors, and the resignation of President Senad Jahić was accepted.

"FK Sarajevo hereby thanks the outgoing members of the Board of Directors for the jointly achieved results and sporting successes.

With the consent of the majority shareholder of voting rights, new members of the Board of Directors have been appointed until April 2022. The new President of the Board of Directors is the former member Damir Kasum. Since his appointment, Kasum has been actively working on the formation of the FK Sarajevo foundation, which would operate within the framework of socially responsible work.

Hajrudin Kapetanović and Elvir Lemeš are the new members of the Board of Directors of FK Sarajevo. Kapetanović is the President of the Association Bordo Friends, a lawyer by profession, and in the previous period he was part of the FK Sarajevo negotiating team regarding the lease of the Olympic Stadium "Asim Ferhatović Hase".

Lemeš has served as the director of Stanogradnja doo in Sarajevo for the past nine years, and was also the general director of Senigor.

At today's session, the extension of the mandate of the President of the Assembly, Valentin Ilievski, for the next four years was also voted on," it was announced.
