1.5 million KM secured for the continuation of the reconstruction of the central building of the Sarajevo Canton Emergency Medical Service

(Patria) - The Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton (KS) continues to invest in healthcare infrastructure.

Following a detailed expert analysis and a review of the project documentation for the reconstruction of the central building of the Sarajevo Canton Emergency Medical Service, all necessary conditions have been met to continue the implementation of this project.

The revised project envisages the renovation of the exterior of the building, including the facade and carpentry, which will ensure the long-term functionality and energy efficiency of the facility.

We remind you that the first phase of works was completed in the previous period. However, due to identified shortcomings in the initial project documentation and objective circumstances, the contract with the previous contractor was terminated by mutual agreement.

In cooperation with the main designer, the project was subsequently revised and a new bill of quantities was defined within the available funds.

Based on the new financing agreement, a repeated public procurement procedure was carried out, and a contract was signed with a new contractor.

The investor of the project is the Ministry of Health of Sarajevo Canton, which has allocated 1.5 million KM for this purpose.

The Ministry of Health of KS remains consistent in its transparent and responsible management of public funds, with continuous investment in projects that directly strengthen the healthcare system and improve the working conditions of the emergency medical service for all citizens of KS, announced the Service for Protocol and Press of KS.
