Municipality of Centar provides first employment for top students

The Mayor of Centar Municipality, Nedžad Ajnadžić, hosted a reception at the Municipality of Centar on December 1, 2016, for eight top students, including recipients of the honorary award „Zlatna značka“, awarded by the University of Sarajevo for exceptional academic achievement, as well as students from šehid families and the Roma population.

Ajnadžić congratulated the top students on their success, emphasizing that with this move, the Municipality of Centar aims to give a chance to young people and future builders of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will also be a practice in the future.

- For the recipients of the „Zlatna značka“ award, we plan to allocate 1,000 KM each as one-time assistance. We also plan for all of you who have not yet secured employment to gain your first work experience at the Municipality of Centar over the next year. You only need to submit a request for an internship at the Municipality of Centar, which can start immediately. Additionally, for all young people, as our best future, we have secured 200,000 KM in the municipal budget starting next year to encourage employment and self-employment among young people from the Centar municipality area through the allocation of non-repayable funds. For scholarships for Roma students, regardless of their grade point average, we have secured funds in the municipal budget starting next year - explained Mayor Ajnadžić.

The present representatives of the legislative authority of the Municipality of Centar, including the Chairperson of the Municipal Council Karolina Karačić together with her deputy Mustafa Mulić, and councilors Sonja Akšamija, Velija Katica, Denis Challenger, Dževad Topić, and Haris Mujanović, congratulated the attending students on their great success, through which they have found the best and most correct path in life.

The attending top students thanked the representatives of the Municipality of Centar and Mayor Ajnadžić for this opportunity, through which they can utilize their previously acquired knowledge in practice. Among them were Tahir Herenda, Nađa Hodžić, Selma Begić-Hodžić, Adisa Bavčić (recipients of the „Zlatna značka“ award), Azemina Bešić, Denis Omerović, Nudžejma Alibegović, and Semira Hasanović.
