In a month, inspectors conducted 426 controls, issued 300 penalty orders

Market-tourism and labor inspectors of the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs are conducting daily supervision of legal and natural persons engaged in hospitality, craft, trade or service activities from 8 AM to 2 AM, reports Patria News Agency.

During the folk music festival "Ilidža 2016", their team activities were primarily focused on the area of that municipality, as well as in the Municipality of Novi Grad, and then in other municipalities in KS. Emphasizing that violations related to issuing fiscal receipts and employing workers "off the books" can only be sanctioned when they are observed on the spot, the inspectors also pointed out that their work is made more difficult, especially at night.

Thus, it often happens that people working "off the books" voluntarily leave their workplaces, refusing to show personal documents. Regardless of the difficult circumstances, the KUIP inspectors agree to continue intensified supervision of all legal and natural persons subject to inspection in the Sarajevo Canton at full capacity, daily, including weekends, without any exceptions.

In the past month, cantonal market-tourism and labor inspectors conducted a total of 426 controls, of which 145 were on legal entities and 281 on natural persons. Based on the established situation, they issued 300 penalty orders totaling 358,431.00 KM, and found 134 people working as "workers off the books".
