Number of pensioners increased by 1,712 in one month, 315.6 million KM needed for pension payments

(Patria) - Pension for the month of November will be received by 464,203 beneficiaries in FBiH, and compared to the month of October, there has been an increase in the number of beneficiaries.

The pension for October was received by 462,491 pensioners, and in just one month, the number of pensioners has increased by 1,712.

Thus, for the month of October, 314.5 million KM was needed for pension payments, and for November, 315.6 million KM is required.

The trend of increasing pensioner numbers is not matched by the growth in the number of employed persons; this difference is becoming smaller and has long been around 85,000. Given that pensions are mostly paid from PIO contributions, it is clear that this money is no longer sufficient for pension payments, so the FBiH Government must add funds.
