Less than a month to collect 5,000 caps for Guinness's "Čepoćilim"

In less than a month, we have collected more than 5,000 caps, which means we have already collected 15,000 caps for the "Čepoćilim" project, said Alma Hrasnica, president of the ecological association Green Art from Sarajevo for the BH News Agency Patria (NAP).

"Čepoćilim" for the Guinness Book of Records is a project that could be realized by the end of the year. It is a carpet ten meters long and three meters wide made of plastic caps of various colors in the motifs of old Bosnian carpets. For its production, according to estimates, 23,520 caps are needed.

As Hrasnica points out, the caps are coming to her from all sides. Numerous schools have joined the action.

- We are starting the campaign in September, promotional materials are already being printed for me, but the design of the carpet is still a secret - Hrasnica states, emphasizing that she has great support for this ecological project.

She also received caps from employees of JP "Elektroprivreda BiH", neighbors, and the actions are still ongoing. All caps can be handed over to so-called "Cap Centers" in UNITIC. The Green Art association still has a lot of work to do, and the project should be completed by the end of the year, writes Patria.
