118.2 million KM for the construction of expressways and highways

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The FBiH Government today adopted two decisions on the programs for the expenditure of part of the capital transfer funds for capital projects of expressway and highway construction in the Federation of BiH, as determined by this year's FBiH Budget, to the Federal Ministry of Transport and Communications in the total amount of 118.2 million KM.

Of this amount, 35 million KM is intended for the construction of the Lašva - Nević Polje expressway, including the passage through the Vitez business zone, then 4.7 million KM for the construction of the Mostar southern bypass, and 30 million KM for the construction of the Prača - Goražde expressway (Lot 1 and Lot 2 Hranjen tunnel - phase 1, with a length of 5,500 meters).

An amount of 6.5 million KM is intended for the project of construction and connection of the M17 and M17.4 main roads, as well as the rehabilitation and reconstruction of main roads in the city of Mostar.

For the Šićki Brod - Đurđevik sub-section, on the Tuzla - Sarajevo road route, 20 million KM has been secured.

For the construction of the Sarajevo city highway (Stup - Buća Potok - Pofalići - Velešići - Bentbaša section), 6,000,000 million KM is planned, and one million KM for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the M15 road (entity line - Sanski Most 1 - Kamičak section).

With the second decision adopted today, the Government has secured 15 million KM for the construction and reconstruction of the 1st transversal, whose implementer is the Sarajevo Canton Directorate for Roads, as capital transfers to other levels of government and funds for the construction of expressways and highways in the Federation of BiH.
