Salaries of civil servants and employees in TK who perform additional duties increased by up to 20 percent

(Patria) - The Government of Tuzla Canton (TK) adopted the text of Annex IX of the Collective Agreement for civil servants and employees in administrative and judicial authorities, which created a legal basis for rewarding employees who, under difficult working conditions, took on additional tasks and responsibilities.

The Annex enables the heads of cantonal civil service bodies and judicial institutions to issue a decision on increasing the base salary by up to 20 percent for civil servants and employees who, due to circumstances beyond the control of management, performed the duties of another job position.

It is foreseen that the increase will be approved based on a monthly report on the actual work performed.

The TK Government states that the adoption of the Annex is the result of continuous social dialogue with the representative trade union and a confirmation of the commitment that a responsible attitude towards work and the additional work of persons who performed part of the duties of employees who were on strike must be recognized and adequately rewarded, while preserving the stability of the institutions' operations.

Other Decisions

In support of sports clubs competing in international competitions, the TK Government, at today's extraordinary session, approved 32,000 KM for the Handball Club "Konjuh" Živinice for co-financing part of the costs incurred as a result of participating in the round of 16 of the EHF European Cup in handball.
