Extraordinary session of the Tuzla Canton Assembly scheduled for Thursday on security situation

(Patria) - The Speaker of the Tuzla Canton Assembly, Žarko Vujović, has scheduled an extraordinary session of the Assembly for Thursday, which will discuss the current security situation in the Tuzla Canton.

"The agenda will be determined at the session itself. I expect all representatives to be present at the session, and for us to receive reports from the competent institutions by Thursday, so that we have full knowledge of the security situation in our canton," Vujović told Politicki.ba.

The reason for holding the extraordinary session of the Tuzla Canton Assembly is certainly the recent murder of Amra Kahrmimanović, who was shot and killed without provocation by police officer Elvir Ćustendil.

"Representatives, i.e., the Assembly, must react. An extraordinary session was also held after the murders in Gradačac and the shooting at the "Lukavac Grad" Elementary School.

I hope that by Thursday we will have more detailed reports from the competent services on the security situation in the canton," Vujović told politicki.ba.
