Orthopedic aids procured for 20 people with multiple sclerosis

There are medications that help, and one of the most important is the love and care that the Association of Persons with Multiple Sclerosis of Sarajevo Canton selflessly provides to its members.

Centar Municipality Sarajevo, led by Mayor Dževad Bećirević, allocated 3,500 marks from its budget this year for the project "Improving the Lives of Persons with Multiple Sclerosis" implemented by the aforementioned Association, reports the Patria News Agency.

The project is intended for 20 people suffering from multiple sclerosis residing in the area of Centar Municipality.

The project is supported by Centar Municipality, and a certain quantity of orthopedic aids has been procured with the aim of improving the quality of life for those affected. For people with multiple sclerosis, this means mobility, as multiple sclerosis is a disease that often affects the lower extremities, causing people to have difficulties with walking, balance, and a number of other problems.

The use of orthopedic aids will enable greater mobility for those affected, and they will feel more useful. With orthopedic aids, they can perform certain actions they otherwise wouldn't be able to. We are extremely grateful to Centar Municipality and Mayor Bećirević for this, as this is not the first time they have supported the activities and projects of our Association, said Fata Bahtijarević, Secretary General of the Association, it was announced from Centar Municipality.
