Wizz Air announces recruitment for 1,300 new employees

Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, has announced the start of the largest recruitment campaign in its history, offering employment opportunities across its extensive network, reports Patria News Agency.

After 13 years of consolidating its leading position in the Central and Eastern European market, WIZZ is opening nearly 1,300 new, direct jobs in the next year thanks to the arrival of 21 new Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft by the end of 2018, as well as the introduction of 11 brand new aircraft that have already been delivered this year, bringing the Wizz Air team to over 4,500 colleagues by the end of 2018.

The airline's expansion and employment opportunities will not end there, as WIZZ plans to double its fleet to over 160 aircraft by the end of 2024.

A total of 400 recruitment events for flight and cabin crew will be organized by the end of 2018 in over 25 countries across Europe, with the aim of attracting ambitious individuals with a passion for aviation to join our professional team.

The campaign will run under the unique name #IamWIZZcrew to allow interested candidates to get to know the company and the aviation profession better.

Under this hashtag, they will find advice from active pilots and cabin crew. All those interested can already browse thousands of photos, posts, and tags on various social networks created by many of our crew members who are passionate about their jobs and who demonstrate their commitment to the company and their passion for aviation.

In addition to attractive salaries and benefits packages, Wizz Air also offers several guaranteed employment packages for its pilots: captains and co-pilots can commute using WIZZ's extensive network of over 550 routes or can relocate and be based at any of the 28 operational bases in 15 European countries.

Successful candidates will receive exceptional training, education, and uniforms completely free of charge, and the opportunity to work in their city in one of Europe's most successful airlines, as well as the chance to travel across Europe and beyond through the WIZZ network.

Interested candidates from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, or Montenegro can participate in all announced recruitment drives. According to the schedule, there will be no recruitment events in these countries in the initial months, but all interested candidates can already apply for recruitment events at the nearest offered locations or leave their application for future recruitment events organized in these countries.
