Wigemark for Patria: My tweet was not a call for BiH citizens to protest

Ambassador Lars Gunnar Wigemark, Head of the EU Delegation and EU Special Representative in BiH told the Patria agency that his message on the social network Twitter was not a call for citizens in BiH to take to the streets in protest.

- It is not a statement, but a question: "Can this happen in BiH?". The answer is probably no, due to fragmentation because ethno-politics dictate public discourse. No, the tweet was not a call for citizens in Bosnia and Herzegovina to protest. But, yes, I believe there is plenty of room for improvement in the fight against corruption in BiH - Wigemark told Patria.

In his post, Wigemark shared news from Romania where mass protests by citizens were held against a law adopted by the government, which further undermines the fight against corruption in that country.
