WEBOMETRICS LIST: University of Sarajevo retains position among the top 1,500 universities in the world

(Patria) - In the January edition of Webometrics' ranking of higher education institutions worldwide, the University of Sarajevo ranked 1476th out of 31,364 ranked universities.

Compared to July 2024, UNSA dropped by 37 positions, when it was ranked 1439th.

Following the University of Sarajevo, which has been the best-ranked university for years, BiH is followed by the University of East Sarajevo (2695th), the University of Banja Luka (2746th), the University of Tuzla (3193rd), International University of Sarajevo (3881st), the University of Mostar (4143rd), Burch (4787th), Sarajevo School of Science and Technology (5507th), the University of Zenica (5708th), the University of Bihać (6046th), the University "Džemal Bijedić" (6495th), the University "Vitez" Travnik (12416th), International University Travnik (16830th), the University of Travnik (21087th), etc.

The best position among universities in the region is held by the University of Ljubljana, which is ranked 317th, the University of Belgrade (427th), and the University of Zagreb (460th).

The screening included three criteria: impact, openness, and excellence, and the University of Sarajevo maintained a good position without significant deviations.

When it comes to the best universities in the world, the top five are: Harvard, Stanford, MIT, Oxford, Berkeley.
