Vulić: Initiative for Konaković's dismissal on Monday

(Patria) - Serbian representatives in the BiH Parliament will launch an initiative to dismiss BiH Foreign Minister Elmedin Konaković, said SNSD Caucus Chair Sanja Vulić.

- This decision comes as a reaction to the minister's statements and actions which we consider an insult to the Serbian people, especially regarding his initiatives to declare January 9 a day of mourning - Vulić said.

She stated that "Konaković's activities undermine the constitutional order of BiH and threaten the rights and position of one of the constituent peoples in BiH - the Serbian people."

She told Konaković that "BiH is a Dayton creation, a community of two entities and three constituent peoples, not a Muslim state for which Bosniak politicians constantly advocate."

- We believe that such actions do not contribute to peace and stability in BiH, but further deepen political and ethnic tensions. The initiative will be submitted to the House of Representatives' Collegium on Monday - Vulić added.
