Vuković: It is necessary to initiate the dismissal of the Council of Ministers of BiH

(Patria) - Nenad Vuković is the new delegate in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament. This was decided by a draw at the premises of the Central Election Commission of BiH, and the CEC will make a decision on the allocation of mandates.

The Court of BiH rejected SNSD's appeal against the decision of the Central Election Commission, which at the end of May re-validated the PDP's ballot for the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, and due to the same number of votes that the SNSD and PDP lists had, a draw was held.

After the draw, Vuković stated that this is an opportunity to reject all spins and manipulations that have been in the public regarding the procedure itself and potential rigging, all those stories about cold-hot, bigger-smaller balls.

"With all of you present, it can be stated that everything was transparent. Of course, PDP and I are very pleased that today we have a delegate in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament. It is regrettable that we missed a year and a half while we were fighting before the judicial institutions to reach this draw. We always believed that our lists should have been in the draw a year and a half ago," said Vuković.

He stated that one of the topics that will gain significance now is that SNSD has three delegates in the House of Peoples, not four, which can change the political situation at the BiH level.

"You know that we announced certain steps if we get this mandate and we stand by our plans, but I would ask that until we officially enter the House of Peoples, we state more concrete plans," emphasized Vuković.

When asked if there have been any talks about the recomposition of state government, Vuković says that their intention is to first try to dismiss the Council of Ministers without prejudging how and in what way another one can be formed.

"Our intention is not to get into a position of power as soon as possible, to sit in armchairs, but to try to dismiss the worst composition of the Council of Ministers. I think that coalition did not work well in the previous period, they did nothing, and it is necessary to initiate that procedure and to see what everyone else in the House of Representatives and the House of Peoples thinks about the topic of dismissing the Council of Ministers. We do not guarantee that we have a majority, we have not yet held talks on this topic, but we believe that we should initiate it," Vuković emphasized.
