Vukanović: We are dealing with a gang, but what is happening in Belgrade will happen in RS too

(Patria) - Member of the Justice and Order List in the National Assembly of RS, Nebojša Vukanović, held a press conference after his car was set on fire in front of his family home in Trebinje during the night.

He stated that this is pure fascism and a logical epilogue to everything he is going through. He said he felt sorry for his wife and mother who were distressed and ended up in the hospital.

Vukanović pointed out that by the time the firefighters arrived, the vehicle was already on fire and that his family had experienced trauma because of it.

"I have filed a report against Stevandić, Višković, and Rankić. Last night, Stevandić said we have to 'kill them all, I will kill them all, by my mother, to which Rankić replied, 'we have to'," said Vukanović, who also published a video of Nenad Stevandić's statement.

He said he had experienced harassment multiple times, not only him but also his family.

"They are a gang, outlaws, freaks, we have to defend ourselves. I have cameras on my house, I knew what was being planned for me," he stated.

He also asked where the reactions of the international community and EU representatives are now.

"The greatest responsibility lies with the mafia judiciary; we live in a society where it is normal to attack MPs. What is the Delegation doing? Has anyone spoken out, no, nor will they," said Vukanović.

"If there was a state, I would have protection, my house would be protected. I have been going and filing reports for 10 years, and nothing has been done," he stated.

"They don't want to. We have to arm ourselves. I have to defend my house. I will not warn anyone. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. If they don't want to conduct an investigation, we will. Don't think we will back down, that we are afraid of them, and that we will not strike back. Then it's a path to banditry, but we have no other choice. I have been filing reports for ten years, and no one has done anything. If nothing else, we will resist them. They also have children and families. Let them understand it as they wish. We have to defend ourselves. If they think it's normal for my wife and mother to go to the hospital at two in the morning and experience trauma, and for them to do whatever they want... We have limits to our patience," he said.

In the end, he said that what is happening in Belgrade will also happen in RS.

"The same thing that is happening in Belgrade is happening here because people have had enough. This is not one man's country; this is the country of all of us," concluded Nebojša Vukanović.

He claims that everything is also connected to the process of his appointment as Minister of Security, and he had a verbal altercation with journalists from RTRs and ATV.
