Vujošević released for home treatment: The success of my BiH meant a lot to me

Hyperbaric chamber therapies have yielded results, BiH coach and former Partizan coach Duško Vujošević is feeling much better and has been released for home treatment, reports the Patria agency. 

Due to gangrene on his toe, Vujošević spent several days at the Military Medical Academy (VMA) in Belgrade, where he was even visited by the most famous fan of the black-and-whites, Miša Tumbas, but none of the officials from the club he brought the most trophies in history to.

Not only that, but no one found it necessary to even call him on the phone and ask about his health.

- Nobody, absolutely nobody. Milan Obućina and Miloš Vazura from the football club called me, and he offered help. I saw what the basketball club published as a kind of statement, and that's fine. And they don't need to call. I expect them now to take care of paying me what I am owed. By hook or by crook – Vujošević told Kurir, and then commented on the criticism regarding suing Partizan to FIBA.

- I am not interested in anyone's opinion on whether now is the right time to collect the money. I earned that several years ago, and now the debt has been reduced, and even divided into installments. So I don't need those financial experts for other people's money. Let them try to earn the right to a moral judgment by not flattering the leader. I didn't sell my love for Partizan; I had it, and I earned the money legally and morally. It's ugly that I now have to collect through FIBA BAT.

Regarding his health, Vujošević will go for a few more treatments from home.

- With the great commitment of the people at VMA and those who work with the hyperbaric chamber at Banjica, we have achieved excellent results. The success of my BiH team also meant a lot to me; they had energy for me too. So everything is moving towards recovery. I would like to thank Professor Đoko Maksić from VMA and Professor Tomo Jovanović from Banjica, as well as everyone who supported me. There were those who cheer for Partizan, those who support Zvezda, or those who don't cheer for anyone but simply respect me – emphasized the coach of the BiH basketball team.
