Vujošević from hospital: I will lead Bosnia and Herzegovina even on one leg, let the enemies not worry

Head coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team Duško Vujošević has been admitted to the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade for better insight by doctors into his health condition, reports the Patria agency.

Vujošević confirmed to Belgrade's Kurir that he was admitted to the hospital, but not due to a worsening of his condition, as some media reported, but so that doctors could have a better insight into his condition.

- The plan was to come to the VMA immediately upon arrival in Belgrade, but there was no need for it to be exactly that day. On the other hand, it is necessary to synchronize treatment and therapies. Also, I need peace, and it is my assessment, as well as the doctors', that it is better for me to spend some time here. I want to heal as soon as possible and I am on the right track. It is not true that I am at the VMA due to a worsened condition; I saw some headlines, but they can write whatever they want – said the coach of our basketball players.

He added that he will certainly return to the national team bench, even on one leg.

- I will lead Bosnia and Herzegovina even on one leg. Let the enemies not worry – Vujošević said from the Belgrade hospital.

We remind you that due to health problems, coach Vujošević had to leave the national team and did not lead the players in the victory against Armenia in the last round of the pre-qualifications for the World Cup.
