Vučurević and eff. Hodžić: No place for nationalist graffiti in Trebinje

-Enemies of coexistence and tolerance in Trebinje could gloat for only two days, because for that long an offensive graffiti stood on the facade of a building near the entrance to the Old Town in Trebinje, says for the news agency Patria Husein eff. Hodžić.

After Patria published a photo of the building on which unknown perpetrators had written the graffiti “Serbian Herzegovina, city of Dučić and St. Vasilije, will not be the city of Bakir's Wahhabis”, city services ensured it was removed.

-My return to the city particularly cheered me up when I saw that the graffiti was gone because someone's hand and honest mind had painted over and hidden it! I soon tried to call the Mayor of Trebinje, Slavko Vučurević, with the intention of thanking him, when another voice answered that he was busy and that we would talk in about ten minutes. Indeed, within the stated time, I received a phone call from the mayor, where among other things in the conversation I thanked him for the reaction of the city inspection services in removing the disputed graffiti. Mr. Vučurević personally condemned it, says eff. Hodžić and adds:

-And I later concluded to myself that this insolence could only have been motivated and ordered on the basis of political bickering and attempts to stir up quarrels among Trebinje's political rivals. Bravo and praise for Trebinje!
