HJPC Accepts Resignation of Prosecutor Dubravko Čampara

(Patria) - Members of the HJPC accepted the resignation of Dubravko Čampara, prosecutor at the BiH Prosecutor's Office, at today's continuation of the session. He submitted a request to the HJPC for the termination of his mandate as of April 30, 2025.

Čampara told Detektor that he is resigning for private reasons. He plans to continue his career in law.

Last week, the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina filed a report with the Disciplinary Prosecutor's Office against state prosecutor Dubravko Čampara, and a prosecutor was appointed to investigate whether there are elements of criminal offenses in his actions. However, his dismissal will terminate the disciplinary proceedings. However, not the criminal proceedings if they are initiated.

The Chief Prosecutor of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, Milanko Kajganić, had previously removed Čampara from the case of Milorad Dodik and the attack on the constitutional order, and transferred him to the War Crimes Department. However, Čampara decided to leave the BiH Prosecutor's Office.

At today's session, 11 present members of the Council voted to appoint Alena Kurspahić Nadarević as acting chief disciplinary prosecutor, whose mandate is soon expiring, until the election of a new chief disciplinary prosecutor.
