SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council will nevertheless discuss the conclusions of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska at tomorrow's part of the session, which also concern the transfer of competencies related to the judiciary, i.e., the adoption of a law establishing a supreme regulatory judicial body at the RS level.
Members of the HJPC were not ready for the debate today, which was initiated by Dutch judge Kees van der Waide, an advisor at the HJPC.
Some HJPC members were not inclined to discuss these conclusions, stating that points cannot be proposed by individuals who are not members of the HJPC.
Member Duška Bogojević emphasized after this decision that it is a matter of discussion, and it is possible that the HJPC will not issue a statement.
The question also remains whether the debate will be open to the public.
