HJPC BiH Appointed Five Judicial Office Holders in FBiH and RS

(Patria) - The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) of BiH, during the first day of its session, held today and tomorrow in Sarajevo, made a decision on the appointment of judicial office holders in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

At the level of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the following were appointed:
‣ Snježana Čolaković - to the position of President of the Cantonal Court in Zenica;
‣ Muhamed Tulumović - to the position of President of the Cantonal Court in Tuzla;
‣ Mirjana Skoko - to the position of Judge of the Municipal Court in Čapljina.

At the level of Republika Srpska, the following were appointed:
‣ Boris Đerić - to the position of President of the Basic Court in Sokolac;
‣ Danijela Elenkov - to the position of President of the Basic Court in Prijedor.

When making the Appointment Decision, the HJPC BiH took into account criteria such as professional knowledge, work experience and work results, professional abilities based on past career achievements, the ability to perform duties impartially, conscientiously, diligently, decisively and responsibly within the scope of the position applied for, relationships with colleagues, behavior outside of work, professional impartiality and reputation, and management experience.

When appointing, the HJPC BiH applies the relevant constitutional provisions governing the equal rights and representation of constituent peoples and others, and respects the balanced representation of genders.
