HJPC BiH Appointed Judicial Office Holders

(Patria) - The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) of BiH, during its session held on April 17, 18, and 19 in Sarajevo, made a decision on the appointment of judicial office holders in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Appointed at the Bosnia and Herzegovina level are:

• Džermin Pašić, to the position of Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina;

• Mladen Furtula, to the position of Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Appointed at the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina level are:

• Meliha Dugalija, to the position of Chief Prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo;

• Vedran Alidžanović, to the position of Chief Prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Tuzla;

• Merima Mešanović, to the position of Chief Prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Bihać;

• Vinko Miladinović, to the position of Judge of the Cantonal Court in Odžak;

• Joko Radić, to the position of Judge of the Cantonal Court in Odžak;

• Mirjana Kevo, to the position of Judge of the Cantonal Court in Mostar;

• Alen Džaferović, to the position of Judge of the Cantonal Court in Mostar.

Appointed at the Republika Srpska level are:

• Zina Halilović, to the position of President of the Basic Court in Modriča;

• Zorica Stolić, to the position of President of the Basic Court in Bosanski Šamac.

When making the Appointment Decision, the HJPC BiH took into account criteria such as: professional knowledge, work experience and work results; professional abilities based on past career achievements; ability to perform duties impartially, conscientiously, diligently, decisively and responsibly within the scope of the function for which they are applying; relationship with colleagues, behavior outside of work, professional impartiality and reputation, and experience in management positions.

When appointing, the HJPC BiH applies the relevant constitutional provisions governing the equal rights and representation of constituent peoples and others, and respects the equal representation of genders.
