Supreme Court of FBiH reduced Vukadinović's sentence for crimes in Busovača area

The Supreme Court of the Federation of BiH reduced the prison sentence of Drago Vukadinović by four months, imposed for crimes against the civilian population committed in 1993 in the Busovača area, reported BIRN, according to the Patria News Agency.

The Cantonal Court in Travnik sentenced Vukadinović to two years in prison in January of this year, and the Supreme Court of FBiH reduced his sentence in April of this year, sentencing him to one year and eight months in prison.

Vukadinović pleaded guilty and expressed remorse for what he did in 1993 to the victim Š.N. from Busovača.

He admitted to beating the victim and throwing her out of her house after she objected to a family from the Travnik area being housed there.

The Defense appealed the Cantonal Court's verdict in Travnik due to the severity of the sentence, requesting the Supreme Court of FBiH to impose a prison sentence of one year. The appeal was partially granted, but the sentence was reduced by four months.
