Vranj reinstated to position: Lukač accused of mobbing!

Director of the Federal Police Administration Dragan Lukač, following reports by the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP), has implemented the decision of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo and reinstated Edin Vranj to the position from which he was dismissed after the riots in the Federation of BiH in February this year.

The information that Vranj has been reinstated to the position of Head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Federal Police was confirmed to the Patria agency by Alen Nakić, Edin Vranj's legal representative.

- Yes, I can confirm that a decision on his reinstatement has been made. This is a precautionary measure, and we are continuing with the process – Nakić told us.

Vranj initiated legal proceedings against Lukač after the FUP chief dismissed him from his position without explanation. In it, Vranj proves that this move was illegal and that he was subjected to pressure and mobbing by Lukač.

According to media reports, Vranj bothered Lukač because he demanded a faster and better reaction in the case of the attack on the BiH Presidency building. However, Lukač retaliated by dismissing him, spreading information that Vranj allegedly provided confidential information to the media. But Vranj did not come to terms with that, he initiated proceedings and publicly criticized the FUP's reaction, NAP reports.
