Vranić visited the Faculty of Dentistry, explained whether there will be new measures

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Minister of Health of Sarajevo Canton Haris Vranić announced that all epidemiological measures remain in force, and acts have been prepared to inform about the conduct of classes in the second semester, which is planned to start next week.

According to him, the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health of KS did not consider expanding the measures at today's session, as they believe the epidemiological curve is slightly declining and does not show a tendency to grow.

Regarding the start of classes in the second semester, at a press conference, he also highlighted the so-called traffic light system for teaching, prepared by the KS Institute of Public Health, copied from European Union countries and adapted to our conditions. Thus, it 'decisively states when each of the measures is reduced or expanded, in relation to the number of newly infected with the coronavirus in Sarajevo Canton'.

Member of the Cantonal Crisis Staff Ednan Drljević stated that the current epidemiological situation in our country is 'one of the best in this part of Europe'.

'We decided to have as much direct, in-classroom teaching as possible, and as little online teaching as possible. All this so that students are in the most favorable position, considering the epidemiological situation. Therefore, we decided on testing teaching staff and mandatory wearing of FFP2 protective masks, as in most European countries,' he said.

Vranić visited the Faculty of Dentistry with clinics of the University of Sarajevo today, during which, accompanied by the dean, Prof. Dr. Muhamed Ajanović, he toured the faculty building and familiarized himself with all the material and human resources of this faculty.

On this occasion, Minister Vranić expressed satisfaction with the organization, modern equipment, and staff available at the Faculty of Dentistry with clinics, and emphasized that the Ministry is available for cooperation and assistance in its further development.

He invited the citizens of Sarajevo Canton to use all types of services provided by this faculty with its clinics.
