Drive carefully: snow, ice and strong wind make traffic difficult

On roads in higher mountainous areas there is packed snow and ice, and due to low temperatures, black ice is also present in lower areas, especially on bridges and tunnel approaches, it is stated on the BIHAMK website.

- There are occasional snowdrifts on the roads: Priluka-Glamoč-Mlinište, Kazanci-Bosansko Grahovo-Resanovci, Ripač-Vrtoče-Bosanski Petrovac and Bosanski Petrovac-Oštrelj-Drvar. We also warn of frequent landslides on numerous sections. In Herzegovina and western Bosnia, we draw attention to strong wind. We appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution and not to set off without winter equipment - it was announced by BIHAMK.

Due to works in the Crnaja tunnel on the Konjic-Jablanica road, traffic alternates during the day, using one lane, while at night (from 23:30 to 4:30) traffic is suspended.

On the main road Jajce-Donji Vakuf, due to works in the Skela tunnel, traffic alternates during the day, using one lane. At night (from 22:00 to 6:00) traffic is suspended and redirected to the bypass around the tunnel (around the Metaling factory).

Among other roads with ongoing works, we highlight the roads: Olovo-Kladanj (Olovske Luke), Jablanica-Mostar (section from Komadinovo vrelo to the Begić and Begović bridge), Doboj-Gračanica (in Klokotnica), Grude-Ljubuški (at the exit from Grude) and Stolac-Hutovo (in the place of Cerovica).

Due to an activated landslide, on the section of the main road Foča-Goražde (in the place of Filipovići), traffic moves slowly, using one traffic lane.

- Due to poor driving conditions in Croatia, at the Izačić border crossing, traffic is suspended for trucks and heavy goods vehicles with trailers. At other border crossings, there are no longer waiting times - it was announced by BIHAMK.
