Drive carefully: Increased traffic of passenger vehicles and buses towards Srebrenica

Traffic of passenger vehicles and buses has increased on all roads towards Srebrenica, so we appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution and to keep a safe distance between vehicles, reports the Patria news agency. 

Movement of cargo vehicles with a capacity over 3.5 tonnes is prohibited on all roads leading to Srebrenica (Sarajevo-Olovo-Kladanj-Luke, Tuzla-Kladanj-Luke, Tuzla-Kalesija-Caparde).

The ban on the transport of cargo vehicles with a total mass over 3.5 tonnes is in effect today until 8 PM on the main road M-19/M-19.2 Zvornik-Konjević Polje-Vlasenica-Luke, as well as on regional roads R-454 Konjević Polje-Bratunac, R-453/R-454a Drinjača-Bratunac-Srebrenica, and R-452 Milići-Zeleni Jadar-Srebrenica. 

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the genocide against the citizens of Srebrenica and the burial of identified victims of the Srebrenica tragedy, the transport of explosive materials is prohibited in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

The ban on the transport of explosive materials is in effect today on the main road M-19/M-19.2 Zvornik-Konjević Polje-Vlasenica-Luke, as well as on regional roads R-454 Konjević Polje-Bratunac, R-453/R-454a Drinjača-Bratunac-Srebrenica, and R-452 Milići-Zeleni Jadar-Srebrenica.

Due to roadworks in Croatia, a traffic ban is in effect for cargo motor vehicles at the Brčko-Gunja border crossing, BIHAMK announced.
