Drive Carefully, Landslides and Falling Rocks Possible on Roadways

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Due to unstable weather conditions and frequent rainfall, BIHAMK urges drivers to exercise increased caution. They also draw attention to possible landslides or falling rocks onto the roadway.

Traffic is suspended in the Jasen tunnel on the Prozor-Jablanica main road due to works. Passenger vehicles and smaller trucks are using the bypass around the tunnel, while vehicles over 7.5 tons (with the exception of buses) are being redirected to alternative routes: Mostar-Široki Brijeg-Posušje-Tomislavgrad-Kupres-Bugojno and Mostar-Sarajevo-Busovača-Novi Travnik-Bugojno.

Traffic suspension is also in effect in the Vinac tunnel (Jajce-Donji Vakuf), and vehicles on this section are using the bypass around the tunnel.

Due to works on the bridge in Reljevo (Jošanica-Rajlovac), as well as on the bridge over the Drina River in Goražde (R-448), traffic is suspended and rerouted to alternative routes.

We also highlight other sections where slower traffic is possible due to works: Jablanica-Mostar (Begića i Begovića bridge), Vitez-Travnik (Bila), Tarčin-Konjic (near Zukići), Pelagićevo-Srebrenik-Šićki Brod, Maglaj-Doboj (Mravići), Livno-Kamensko, and Šešlije-Modriča.

Every working day between 11 PM and 8 AM on the Doljani-Žitomislići-Buna-Dračevice-Podveležje route, oversized transport is moving. Drivers using this route during the specified period are asked to be cautious and follow the instructions of the authorized escort personnel.

Currently, there are no waiting times longer than 30 minutes at border crossings. Entry into Montenegro is not permitted at the Hum border crossing, while entry into Montenegro at the Metaljka border crossing is possible from 7 AM to 7 PM. The Deleuša border crossing is closed due to works.
