DRIVE CAUTIOUSLY Ice and packed snow make driving difficult on roads in BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) -  There is packed snow on the roadway this morning in the higher areas of western Bosnia.

BIHAMK highlights the following routes: Bihać-Bosanski Petrovac-Drvar, Livno-Kupres, Livno-Glamoč-Mrkonjić Grad and Livno-Bosansko Grahovo.

On other sections, traffic is moving on a partially wet roadway. Due to extremely low temperatures, they warn of possible black ice. They advise special caution in higher areas, as well as on bridges, viaducts and tunnel approaches. BIHAMK also draws attention to frequent landslides or rockfalls.

They appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution and not to set off without winter equipment.

Due to works in the Crnaja tunnel on the Konjic-Jablanica road, traffic alternates during the day, using one lane, while at night (11:30 PM to 4:30 AM) traffic is suspended.

On the main road Jajce-Donji Vakuf, due to works in the Skela tunnel, traffic alternates during the day, using one lane. At night (10 PM to 6 AM) traffic is suspended and diverted to a bypass around the tunnel (near the Metaling factory).

Traffic is slowed due to works on the following routes: Jablanica-Mostar (Komadinovo vrelo to the Begić and Begović bridge), Grude-Ljubuški (at the exit from Grude) and Stolac-Hutovo (in the village of Cerovica).

Due to an activated landslide, on the section of the main road Foča-Goražde (in the village of Filipovići), traffic is moving slowly, using one traffic lane.

There are no longer waits at border crossings.
