Drive Carefully, Roads Are Wet and There Is Packed Snow in Higher Elevations

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - On most roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina this morning, traffic is moving on wet roads.

An exception are sections in the southern regions where the road is predominantly dry. In sections in higher mountain areas, slushy snow or ice may be encountered.

On the Livno - Kupres and Livno-Bosansko Grahovo routes, strong winds are blowing, causing snowdrifts in places. We also draw attention to frequent landslides of earth or stones. We appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution and not to set off without winter equipment, according to BIHAMK.

Due to an activated landslide, traffic on the Foča-Goražde main road (in Filipovići) is moving slowly, on one lane.

Due to works in the Crnaja tunnel on the Konjic-Jablanica road, traffic alternates on one lane during the day, while traffic is suspended at night (from 11:30 PM to 4:30 AM).

On the Jajce-Donji Vakuf main road, due to works in the Skela tunnel, traffic alternates on one lane during the day, while traffic is suspended at night (from 10 PM to 6 AM) and rerouted to the bypass around the tunnel (Metaling factory premises).

Traffic is moving slowly due to works on the following routes: Olovo-Kladanj (Olovske Luke), Jablanica-Mostar (Komadinovo vrelo to Begića i Begovića bridge), Blažuj-Gromiljak (Radanovići), Doboj-Gračanica (in Klokotnica), Grude-Ljubuški (at the exit from Grude), and Stolac-Hutovo (in Cerovica).

At border crossings, waiting times are no longer than 30 minutes.
