Drivers beware: Wind gusts, landslides and falling rocks on roads

BiH, (Patria) -After the removal of fallen trees on the M-18 Olovo-Kladanj main road section, traffic is proceeding unimpeded, BIHAMK announced. 

- Due to frequent rainfall, as well as occasional strong wind gusts, drivers are urged to exercise increased caution. Landslides and falling rocks onto the roadway are frequent on sections in cuts and over mountain passes.

We highlight the following routes: Sarajevo-Foča, Bihać-Bosanska Krupa, Konjic-Mostar, Jajce-Banja Luka, Bugojno-Novi Travnik, Rogatica-Višegrad and Turbe-Karanovac.

On the occasion of the Catholic Easter holiday, the transport of explosives is prohibited in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina from midnight tonight until midnight tomorrow.

On the A-1 highway section Sarajevo sjever-Lepenica, due to landslide remediation, traffic in the Igman tunnel is redirected from the driving to the overtaking lane, while traffic is slowed down at the Treševina site.

Due to rehabilitation works on the Briješće viaduct on the M-17 Rajlovac-Stup main road, traffic is suspended and redirected to the roundabout (rotor) in Safeta Zajke street.

For trucks over 3.5 tons, traffic is suspended on the M-14.1 Bosanski Brod-Velika Brusnica main road, as well as on the R-419 Rakitno-Blidinje regional road.

At border crossings, waiting times do not exceed 30 minutes.
