Drivers, be cautious due to strong winds and frequent landslides

(Patria) - Traffic on the roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina is proceeding on dry and occasionally wet surfaces, and BIHAMK warns of strong gusts of wind in most of our country.

Landslides are also frequent on numerous sections, and we particularly highlight the following main roads: Bihać-Srbljani-Bosanska Krupa, Jajce-Banja Luka, Turbe-Karanovac, Novi Travnik-Bugojno, Prozor-Gornji Vakuf/Uskoplje, Kladanj-Živinice-Šićki Brod, Tuzla-Bijeljina, Buna-Masline, Stolac-Neum, Višegrad-Vardište, Foča-Gacko, and Sarajevo-Foča-GP Hum. In addition to landslides, we also draw attention to possible branches and fallen trees due to strong winds.

We advise more cautious driving, adapted to the current conditions and road situation, and remind drivers that winter equipment is legally mandatory.

The rehabilitation of the Begića and Begovića bridge (Jablanica-Mostar) is currently underway, due to which traffic on the bridge is regulated by traffic lights, with alternating vehicle passage.

Due to ongoing works, we also highlight the following main roads: Novi Travnik-Bugojno (Rostovo), Bilješevo-Lašva, Čevljanovići-Nišići, and Ključ-Sanski Most (at the entrance to Sanski Most, near the Water Park).

There are no long waits for passenger vehicles at border crossings. Due to protests in Croatia, buses and trucks are still unable to cross the Orašje-Županja border crossing.
