Drivers beware: Wet roads and strong winds

According to the collected information, traffic on most road routes in Bosnia and Herzegovina is taking place on predominantly wet roads. Due to new snowfall, we warn of packed snow on sections in higher mountain areas, it was announced from BIHAMK, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

SELECTED ROAD ROUTES

Bugojno-Kupres-Livno, Glamoč-Mliniste, Kaonik-Novi Travnik-Bugojno, Gornji Vakuf-Prozor, as well as the section Bihać-Bosanski Petrovac-Ključ, where traffic is prohibited for trucks with trailers and semi-trailers.

On the Donji Vakuf-Travnik road, the use of chains for heavy goods vehicles is mandatory. Additional difficulties on sections in western and northwestern Bosnia are caused by strong winds, which are creating snowdrifts in places.

Road service teams are intervening on all road routes where necessary, and we appeal to drivers to adjust their driving to the road conditions and not to set off without winter equipment.

Due to an activated landslide, traffic is suspended on the section of the main road M-4 Simin Han-Kalesija (in Babajići). The detour via Dubrave is in operation.

Due to bad weather conditions in Croatia, traffic is prohibited for trucks with trailers and semi-trailers at the Izačić border crossing. There are no long delays at the border crossings.
