Drivers beware: Fog in the area of Vitez, Kiseljak, Doboj, Maglaj, wind gusts on the road to Mostar

Drivers traveling this morning are warned of locally reduced visibility in the wider area of Vitez, Kiseljak, Doboj, Maglaj, the western parts of the country and parts of Sarajevo Canton, BIHAMK announced, Patria reports. 

Due to low temperatures in the morning hours, ice is possible in higher mountainous areas, as well as on bridges and tunnel approaches. Drivers are also warned of strong wind gusts on the Drežnica-Mostar road. Drivers are urged not to set off without winter equipment, the possession of which is legally mandatory for all vehicle categories.

Roadworks in Croatia are still ongoing at the border crossings of Bosanski Brod-Slavonski Brod and Orašje-Županja, so traffic at these crossings is slow during the day. Delays at other border crossings are no longer than 20 minutes.
 
Short traffic jams occur on sections where rehabilitation works are being carried out and where it is mandatory to respect the posted traffic signs.  We highlight the roads M-17 Žepče-Nemila, M-6 Čapljina-Studenci, M-18 Tuzla-Priboj and R-414 Turbe-Banja Luka.
