Train derails: Three people injured

Three people sustained minor injuries when a freight train locomotive derailed in the village of Grabovica while traveling from Jablanica towards Mostar, according to the Operational Center of Civil Protection of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.

The locomotive drivers F. Đ, Z.S. and Š.A. suffered minor injuries. The accident occurred last night at 8:10 PM when the locomotive struck a rockfall that was on the tracks. The locomotive then derailed, and in addition to damage to the locomotive and wagons, material damage was also caused to the tracks, resulting in a suspension of rail traffic on this route.

An investigation has been conducted and measures are being taken to normalize rail traffic on this route.
