Voloder and other suspects to be questioned today

(Patria) - Former Director of Autoceste Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine Elmedin Voloder and other suspects who were apprehended in yesterday's Landfill operation were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office of Zenica-Doboj Canton this morning, confirmed Mirna Poljac, spokesperson for the Prosecutor's Office of ZDK, for "Slobodna Bosna".

"They will be questioned by the acting prosecutor within the next 24 hours, after which they will decide on further measures and actions," Poljac told "SB".

According to the law, the prosecutor has 24 hours to question them and, within those 24 hours, potentially file a motion for custody, after which the Court decides on custody.

As a reminder, the former Director of Autoceste Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine Elmedin Voloder was apprehended yesterday at the premises of the Federal Police Administration (FUP), as part of a large operation conducted at multiple locations in three cantons.

We have learned that, besides him, other suspects in this operation include Marijan Nikolić from Žepče, Boris Zekić from Orašje, Reuf Kadrić, an employee of Autoceste FBiH. In addition to them, a private businessman from Sarajevo, Mustafa Musabegović, is also among the suspects.

"Searches were carried out at 9 locations in Zenica-Doboj Canton, Sarajevo Canton, and Posavina Canton, during which 5 individuals were deprived of liberty on suspicion of committing corrupt criminal offenses during the construction of the highway section," said FUP spokesperson Emil Sućeska yesterday.
