Army setting up tent settlements with beds at eight border crossings

(Patria) - Based on the Decision of the Presidency of BiH on the engagement of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the purpose of providing assistance to civil authorities in the prevention and containment of the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), and following meetings with representatives of the BiH Border Police, the border crossings where members of the BiH AF will, with their own capacities, set up tents, beds, disinfect these tents, and provide physical security for the tents until further notice have been defined.

As defined, tent settlements with beds will be established at eight border crossings, as follows:

1. Izačić Border Crossing
2. Bijača Border Crossing
3. Brod Border Crossing
4. Gradiška Border Crossing
5. Rača Border Crossing
6. Šepak Border Crossing
7. Vardište Border Crossing
8. Klobuk Border Crossing

In accordance with the Decision of the Presidency of BiH and the order of the BiH Ministry of Defence, the Armed Forces of BiH immediately this morning, March 19, 2020, began implementing the aforementioned tasks. Reporting on further activities and procedures will be based on the implementation of assigned and any new requests.
