Vojin Mijatović Appointed Deputy Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina

The House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina appointed Vojin Mijatović (NDP) as Deputy Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, replacing Đorđe Milićević, Patria reports.

Milićević was elected mayor of Bosanski Šamac in the October local elections. Mijatović took the oath before this House, pledging to respect the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and not to violate the Dayton Peace Agreement.

Vojin Mijatović served as an advisor to various officials, as well as director of the Economic Institute of Banja Luka.

Mijatović was also an advisor to former Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nikola Špirić, assistant minister of finance of Republika Srpska, and later an advisor to the President of the Government of Republika Srpska while Aleksandar Džombić held that position.

Vojin is currently a member of the NDP, and was proposed for deputy minister by the Alliance for Change.
