Vogošća: Several hundred citizens bid farewell to Tihić

Several hundred citizens in Vogošća welcomed the convoy carrying the coffin with the body of Sulejman Tihić, SDA president and delegate in the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliament, Patria reporter states.

Citizens held red carnations in their hands, and quite a few were crying. Otherwise, after the funeral in Sarajevo, a convoy of vehicles with the coffin passed through the city, and numerous Sarajevans and citizens from other cities bid their final farewell to a man who undoubtedly left an indelible mark on the BiH political scene.

The coffin with the body of Sulejman Tihić is in a convoy of cars heading towards Bosanski Šamac, the hometown of the SDA president. It was his wish to be buried in this city.

The SDA president passed away on Thursday evening at 7:20 PM at the University Clinical Center Sarajevo after a long and severe illness.
