SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Despite repeated appeals from the Municipality of Vogošća to the citizens of Vogošća not to destroy children's and sports playgrounds, the practice of devastating these areas is still present.
The latest case relates to the basketball court in Skender Kulenović Street.
Although KJKP "Park" renovated this playground in November 2019, it is once again out of order.
The hoops have been destroyed in a way that suggests they were destroyed with the intention of preventing the use of this playground. Representatives of the competent municipal service visited the site, recorded the damage, and through Televizija Vogošća, sent another appeal to the citizens, announcing that video surveillance will be installed at the mentioned location to identify the person or persons destroying this playground, according to a statement from the Municipality of Vogošća.
At the same time, KJKP "Park" was asked to intervene again at this playground, and it was announced that employees of this company will repair the damaged hoops and the broken fence on March 06, 2020.
