(Patria) - Due to floods, landslides and works, traffic is suspended and restricted on several roads in BiH, with bans for trucks and changes in traffic regimes on highways and border crossings.
Due to water overflowing onto the road, traffic is suspended on the roads: M-1.9 Ormanica-Gradačac, M-1.8 Cerik-Dubrave (near "Arizona" market) R-460 Vučkovci-Gračanica, R-465a Gradačac-Kerep and Tutnjevac-Bobetino Brdo, according to BiHAMK.
On the sections: Ključ-Bosanski Petrovac-Bihać, Bosanski Petrovac-Drvar, Sarajevo-Rogatica, Vlasenica-Han Pijesak and Karaula-Stupari, a ban on truck traffic is in effect.
Due to a larger landslide, traffic is suspended on the regional road Ugljevik-Lopare, on the Tobut-Vukosavci section, near the quarry. Due to falling stone material, traffic is moving in one lane on Nišići.
Road crews are working on repairing and clearing landslides. Passenger vehicles have difficulty driving over the passes: Komar, Rostovo, Makljen, Koprivnica and Kupres, while trucks must have chains installed.
Movement of all vehicles across the bridge on the main road Dobro Polje-Miljevina is prohibited. Vehicles with a total weight of up to 3.5 tons can use the roads over Grapak or Kalinovik (there is 19 km of macadam road), while trucks must travel via Rogatica and Ustiprača. Construction of a noise barrier is underway on the A-1 Sarajevo sjever-Podlugovi highway section, due to which traffic is diverted to the overtaking lane.
Due to soil monitoring works on the A-1 Sarajevo zapad-Lepenica highway section, in the area of the Lepenica interchange and the Igman tunnel, traffic is diverted to the overtaking lane. Due to construction works on the main road Tomislavgrad-Prisoje, traffic is moving in one lane with traffic lights operating 24/7. On the main road Jablanica-Blidinje, traffic is allowed for vehicles up to 3.5 tons, while traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons is still suspended.
Traffic for all vehicles is suspended on the main road Šamac-Grebnica due to the repair of a railway crossing. Alternative routes are in function. Passenger vehicle traffic is increasing at border crossings, but waiting times are currently up to 30 minutes. Due to passenger registration under the new EU entry/exit system (EES), longer waiting times at border crossings are possible.
The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. From December 2, 2025, the Karakaj border crossing will be open for all categories of vehicles. Traffic for all trucks is prohibited at the Šepak border crossing.
