Owner Vekaz Nalić: Due to financial difficulties, he deregistered the butcher shop in Srebrenica

The owner of the butcher shop in Srebrenica, Vekaz Nalić, reacted to media reports that the butcher shop was closed and explained that he received a decision from the Municipality of Srebrenica allowing him to deregister the butcher shop for two months, writes the BH News Agency Patria.

Namely, Nalić opened the butcher shop on April 1st this year, for which he received 10,000 KM from the Municipality of Srebrenica, which he was supposed to repay. As he explains, in June, which was also Ramadan, there wasn't much business, and this continued the following month.

- I visited all the banks in the Bratunac and Srebrenica area looking for a loan that would get me back to normal, but I didn't get one. I also asked for a meeting at the Municipality. Mayor Duraković was too busy with obligations and surgery, so I couldn't establish contact - said Nalić.

Mayor Duraković told Patria that individuals misuse the goodwill of the local community, and they have already had cases where people took loans and closed their businesses very quickly.

- There is, of course, the economic dimension, but I repeat, we were and always will be ready to help open businesses, it's just a matter of supply and price and how sincere individuals really are when they turn to us for financial loans to start a business. You can't get rich overnight, especially not in Srebrenica - said Duraković.
